Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: [Effective date]

This is a template for launch, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a lawyer and replace the bracketed placeholders before going live. The full text is currently available in English only.

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may not do on Tuqui.store. It applies to your storefront, your products, your files, and everything you do with the Service, and is part of our Terms of Service.

Prohibited content and products

You may not use the Service to publish, sell, or distribute:

  • Anything illegal, or that promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
  • Content or products that infringe someone else’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Malware, spyware, or code intended to harm or gain unauthorized access to systems.
  • Content that is hateful, harassing, or incites violence against people based on protected characteristics.
  • Child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving minors — this results in immediate termination and reporting to authorities.
  • Regulated goods you are not licensed to sell, and any products prohibited by the restricted-business rules of the processor you sell through — Stripe’s or MercadoPago’s. The two lists are not identical: a product one processor allows may still be barred by the other, and the rules of the one that takes your money are the ones that apply to you.
  • Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading offers, including fake reviews or impersonation.

Prohibited conduct

  • Do not use the Service to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or to harvest data without consent.
  • Do not attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the Service, its security, or other users’ accounts.
  • Do not abuse the payments system, launder money, or knowingly facilitate chargeback or dispute fraud.
  • Do not circumvent plan limits, suspensions, or our risk controls.

Your responsibility as a seller

You are responsible for ensuring your products, descriptions, and marketing are accurate and lawful, that you have the rights to what you sell, that you deliver what you promise, and that you comply with consumer-protection and tax laws that apply to you and your customers.

Enforcement

We may remove content, disable products, suspend selling, or terminate accounts that violate this AUP, with or without notice depending on severity. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement. Suspected fraud or high dispute rates may trigger automated suspension of selling.
